About Me
I am a clinical psychologist licensed in New Jersey (Lic. #35SI004825) and New York (Lic. #018457) with over 20 years of professional experience. I received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the Gordon F. Derner School of Psychology at Adelphi University. Following the conclusion of my doctoral coursework, I completed my pre-doctoral internship at Stony Brook University’s Counseling and Psychological Services.
Over the course of my career, I have had the privilege of training and working in diverse settings that have deeply enriched my clinical expertise and which have encompassed the treatment of children, adolescents, adults, and families. These settings included hospital inpatient and outpatient departments, community-based mental health centers, and university counseling centers.
College mental health and helping young and emerging adults during this unique phase of their life has been especially meaningful to me. For 17 years, I worked in higher education as a staff psychologist in college counseling centers at William Paterson University and Ramapo College of New Jersey. For the last ten of those years, I served as the Associate Director of Counseling Services at Ramapo College, where I had administrative oversight of the day-to-day clinical operations for the center; provided therapy services to students; and had supervisory responsibilities for the clinical staff as well as graduate trainees in psychology and social work.
