Frequently Asked Questions
What are your rates?
My fee is dependent on the type and length of appointment. Please contact me and I will be more than happy to discuss this with you.
Do you take insurance?
While I am not a participating psychologist for any insurance panels, should you have out-of-network benefits, I will provide you with a statement to submit to your insurance carrier for potential reimbursement, as I am considered an out-of-network provider. Please check with your insurance provider to determine if you have out-of-network benefits, what your yearly deductible is, and any limitations in terms of session limits as determined by your plan. If you have any additional questions regarding your insurance, coverage, and fees, please contact me so that we can discuss it prior to scheduling an appointment.
What is your cancellation policy?
As the process of therapy represents a deep commitment to change and entails a significant personal investment, in order to maintain consistency and work as in-depth as possible, it is important that you keep all of your appointments. While it is understandable that from time to time there will be obligations and unexpected events that occur, aside from illness or emergencies, sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged in full. In the event of the need to cancel, I will do my best to provide an alternative day and/or time to reschedule. Please note however, that this may not always be possible. Appointments that are missed without calling in advance will also result in a charge for the missed session.
