Supervision and Consultation
I have long enjoyed teaching, supervising, and consulting with other mental health professionals. I have extensive supervisory experience, having supervised clinical psychologists, social workers, and other mental health professionals both in training and at different stages of their professional careers. Additionally, as Associate Director of Counseling Services at Ramapo College of New Jersey, I oversaw and ran the graduate training program for Masters in Social Work students and doctoral students in Clinical and Counseling Psychology Ph.D. and Psy.D. programs.
I am available to meet for ongoing supervision or case consultation, with the objective of supporting your professional work, helping you enhance your clinical skills, and fostering your professional growth. In my approach to supervision, I prioritize the unique needs and developmental stage of each supervisee. My goal is to create a safe, collaborative space from which to work, and together, build upon your strengths as a clinician.
Grounded in a relational psychodynamic framework, I guide supervisees in developing a more nuanced understanding of their cases and helping them use theoretical formulations to inform and guide their clinical interventions. My aim is to help you deepen your clinical insight, refine your therapeutic techniques, and shape your own distinct style as a practitioner.
